Public Instagram URLs you paste are transmitted to servers that power the downloader so links can be processed. We do not intentionally store full Instagram histories of users tied to identifiable accounts on our side for marketing purposes beyond what normal server/security logs briefly retain (below).

If you email or submit the contact form, we receive identifiers you supply (typically name + email plus message body). We use this correspondence only to answer you and safeguard the Site unless law compels narrower retention exceptions.

3. Automatically collected technical data

Like virtually all HTTPS sites, inbound requests emit basic technical metadata (approximate timestamps, routed IP address, referring URL snippets, HTTP status outcomes, generalized error traces). Operators use aggregates to mitigate abuse (rate bursts, scripted hammering). Raw logs are retained only long enough for security & stability—typically 30–90 rolling days unless prolonged investigation is warranted.
