How to Download Instagram Reels on Android — 2026 Guide
You can save Instagram Reels to your Android phone in a few steps using a free browser-based downloader. This guide works on all Android devices and doesn’t add any watermark to your downloads.
Download Reels on Android — Steps
- Open the Reel: In the Instagram app, go to the Reel you want to save.
- Copy link: Tap the three dots (⋯) and choose “Copy Link”.
- Open GramFetch: Open Chrome (or another browser) and go to gramfetch.com.
- Paste and download: Paste the link in the input box and tap “Download”. When the Reel is ready, tap “Download Video”. The file will save to your device.
On Android, the video typically goes to the “Downloads” folder. You can open it from your file manager or gallery app.
Where Do Downloaded Reels Go?
Depending on your browser and Android version, downloads may go to “Downloads” in internal storage or to a folder chosen by the browser. You can check in the Files app or in your gallery if the video is in a “Videos” or “Download” album.
Tips for Android
- Grant storage permission if the browser asks, so the file can be saved.
- Only public Reels can be downloaded. Private accounts aren’t supported.
- Use the official “Copy Link” from the Reel — don’t copy the address bar from an in-app browser.
